Annual
Blueberry Festival Update

To our friends and supporters of Anawim Ministries. It is with a heavy heart that we write to inform you that, after much consideration and deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our annual Blueberry Festival for this year.

As you may be aware, our Blueberry Festival has been a cherished tradition in our community, eagerly anticipated by both locals and visitors alike. However, this year, our primary concern lies with the well-being of our blueberry crop. Our staff and agriculture experts have identified that the crops require additional care and attention to ensure a fruitful yield. Consequently, it is imperative that we prioritize the blueberry bushes over the festival activities.

As the crop may be smaller this summer, we will still have pies and jams available for purchase in July and August.

While we understand the disappointment this may cause, we believe it is in the best interest of our community and our agricultural endeavors. However, we are not without hope or alternative plans. We are excited to introduce a new initiative that we believe will not only engage our community but also support our blueberry cultivation efforts.

We are inviting individuals and businesses to participate in our "Sponsor-A-Bush" program. For a contribution of $100, sponsors will have the opportunity to support the growth and maintenance of an existing blueberry bush. In return, sponsors will receive recognition on our website and social media platforms, as well as a certificate of appreciation acknowledging their contribution to our agricultural endeavors.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or would like more information about the program, please do not hesitate to contact us. Your support and generosity are deeply appreciated, and we look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you in this endeavor.

Once again, we extend our sincerest apologies for the cancellation of this year's Blueberry Festival. We remain committed to fostering a strong and vibrant community and are confident that, together, we will overcome this challenge and emerge stronger than ever before.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and commitment to our community.
